Literature Text

You can't see them
But I know they're there
Draping over you like curtains on a window
They smell of burnt hair and decaying flesh
Yet of honeysuckle and jasmine
They are hawks
They watch your every movement
And pick you apart like vultures
They wait patiently for your time to come
Like tigers, ready for the right moment to strike
It's useless to stop them
There is no hope, only helplessness
But you are not the only one they follow
They are behind everyone,
Death and your replacement in this world
Comment what you thought!

"It's unless to stop them." Did you mean "It's useless to stop them"?

"But you not the only one they follow" Did you mean, "But you are not the only one they follow"? "But you're not" and But you aren't"  would also work.

Not sure if these were intentional or not. And I'm just trying to help if I can.

That aside, I love this. It give a really clear visual of something stalking you, and there being nothing you can do about it. I got a helpless feel while reading it. Though it makes me curious what smells so decaying flesh and burnt hair, but also of sweet flowers?

Your use of simile was good, and worked well.
